berkshire project
Set within a secluded Berkshire village, this expansive five-bedroom residence was reimagined through a complete interior architecture and FF&E interior design transformation. The design sought to create a luxurious yet welcoming family home, rich in texture, colour, and personality, a place equally suited to relaxed living and elegant entertaining.
From an architectural perspective, the layout was reconfigured to enhance flow and spatial harmony. A previously intrusive structural pillar was reinterpreted as a double-sided fireplace, transforming a constraint into a sculptural focal point that now bridges the family and dining rooms with warmth and intent. The staircase was redesigned as a sweeping curve, paired with a softly backlit polished plaster wall, bringing fluidity and unique, refined elegance to the home’s core.
From an FF&E aspect, the brief centred on creating distinction between family and formal zones. The formal living room offers a serene escape, created exclusively for adults to unwind and entertain, while the remainder of the home celebrates pattern, depth, and richness of tone, a tailored expression of family life with an unmistakably sophisticated edge.
